Right after our Golden Jubilee on April 24, 2008, I kept praying fervently that when the day comes for our Diamond Jubilee I will still be strong and healthy.
Ten years passed and the awaited day was just around the corner. May 16, 2018 finally came. For me, it was a great blessing and a privilege to celebrate the Diamond Jubilee of my Profession of vows in the religious life.
On the day of the Jubilee celebration, I was very excited! As I processed to the altar, I saw my guests beaming with misty eyes. My heart responded, I seemed lifted up with joy and gladness. I cannot help but recall all the trials I encountered before this joyous occasion. Those bitter-sweet experiences formed me into what I am now. During the mass, I thanked the Lord from the bottom of my heart for the many graces I received and for helping me overcome my trials. But I am doubly grateful for His gift of vocation and perseverance in the service of the vineyard of the Lord.
Most of all, I thank the Lord for the success of this solemn occasion. I thank all AR sisters, our guests and all those who helped in the preparation of the many things needed in the accommodation of all guests.
I know I cannot thank the Lord enough.
