IESA Recognizes the Congregation of the Augustinian Recollect Sisters

Bangkok, Thailand- The International Education Summit and Awards recognizes the Congregation of the Augustinian Recollect Sisters as an outstanding school for imparting values education on February 22, 2020, held at Devalux Resort and Spa, Bangkok, Thailand.

The award was received by Sr. Mary Ann J. Lumactao, A.R., third councilor and superintendent of the A.R. Schools. At the same time, she represented the Congregation in Education Summit attended by dedicated educators with notable speakers.


Sr. Ingrid Gueriña declares 10th ARSC Congress- Province of St. Augustine open

Intramuros, MANILA–The Augustinian Recollect Student Crusaders – Province of Saint Augustine has opened its 10th ARSC Provincial Congress last September 12, 2019, at Colegio de Sta. Rosa – Intramuros. The Congress started with a parade of the delegates and continued with a Drum and Lyre Exhibition Performance of the Marching Bands from the Host School, CSR-I and Saint Rita College – Manila. Moreover, the ARSCians formally opened the program with a Bible Enthronement headed by the San Fransisco Javier College.

Then, Ms. Nella Mira, ARSC National President, shared the Rationale and the Objectives of the Congress. ARSCians then had a chance to become more close with each other as they get acquainted in a fun and exciting games and a lot of animation songs. They also had a chance to meet their OIKOS family to decide on their names and their Yell.

The Holy Eucharist with Rev. Fr. Dionisio Selma, OAR followed. In his homily, he reminded that as youths, we must really know who we are, and must reflect deeply to realize how much God loves us, we are beloved, as manifested in the gifts given to us. The Day ended with a Night Prayer and a Rosary as the Sister Servant Leaders and Teacher Servant Leaders blessed the rooms.

Colegio de la Medalla Milagrosa, Jagna Bohol skater gives PHL 8 medals

Jagna, BOHOL–Franz Cameron Villacastin Tadena, Grade 7 student of Colegio de la Medalla Milagrosa, (CMM) Jagna, Bohol represented Team Philippines in the recently concluded Skate Asia 2019, August 3-10, 2019 held in Bangkok, Thailand. The Philippines was the 3rd Placer out of 11 Asian countries of which Tadena contributed the following awards to its rank: 3 Golds for Technical, Solo Compulsory and footwork category; 2 Silvers for Artistic and spotlight Character Category; 3 Bronze for Light Entertainment, Surprise and open freestyle (Silver) Category.
